Report of 沙巴体育 Reunion - 2025

The Annual 沙巴体育 Reunion of 沙巴体育 College of Nursing (MCON), 沙巴体育, was held on 8th July 2025. The event commenced at 6:00 PM with a warm welcome address and introduction of the Chief Guest by Dr. Tessy Treesa Jose, Associate Dean, MCON.

Dr. Judith A. Noronha, Dean, MCON, highlighted the remarkable progress of the college since its inception. She emphasized that the alumni are the true ambassadors of the institution, contributing significantly to its global reputation.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Vishnu Renjith, Program Director and Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, shared his inspiring journey. He credited the mentorship and guidance received at MCON as the foundation of his professional achievements.

The Guests of Honour included:

· Dr. Blessy Prabha Valsaraj, Assistant Professor, College of Nursing, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, who fondly recalled her memories at MCON.

· Dr. Rohit Singh, Director – 沙巴体育 Relations, MAHE, who spoke about the core values of MAHE’s alumni network: Connect, Support, and Inspire.

A special moment of the evening was the felicitation of Dr. Anice George, Professor and Head of 沙巴体育 and Collaboration, MCON, and former Dean, for her unwavering support and mentorship to students over the years.

The event witnessed the participation of 145 alumni, including faculty alumni, representing countries such as Australia, Muscat, and Ireland. The reunion was coordinated by Dr. Anjalin Dsouza, 沙巴体育 Coordinator, MAHE, 沙巴体育. The evening concluded with a vibrant cultural program, celebrating the spirit of togetherness and shared legacy. The event is aligned with SDG 4, knowledge sharing, mentorship and guidance, and global networking.
